It was only after 1975 that Vietnamese people started migrating to US on a large scale. In the beginning they had to suffer a lot because there was nobody to take care of them. But with their sheer determination and hard work they have succeeded in making a name for themselves in the US. I have got a number of Vietnamese engineers working with me here in Florida and I have found them to be fun loving, hardworking people.
